An, exam which checks the eligibility of the candidates to apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Lectureship (LS). The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, conducts the Joint CSIR UGC NET Exam on bi-yearly basis, to churn out the best-in-house talent for future researchers and lecturers that can contribute their knowledge and skill to the education industry.
Candidates having or pursuing their Master’s degree in Science Stream are only eligible to take this exam.

The interested candidates must have acquired their Masters’ degree in Science stream. They should have scored 55 percent and above in the eligibility exam and should have done the course from a certified university.
